IBM Training & Certification
At the moment the free courses are Sales oriented, however by doing them you will get an initial grounding in the products and technology behind them and KTI will move up the ladder as a partner for selling and supporting these products. For each courses you complete and pass you will get a certificate personally credited and sent to you (via email) The Sales Mastery courses are free and the tests are all online (open book) The Technical Sales are generally free & online but the tests have to be taken at a Prometric Test Center (not sure yet of the costs. I am researching) Individual certification is below You can click on the clickable links below to get more information on those courses RATIONAL Sales Courses M157 Foundational > Completed by MH M158 Systems Sales > In progress AA Technical Sales (2 required by IBM to enable our support for Rational – no one is assigned to any of these right now)
WEBSPHERE Sales Courses M154 Websphere Solution Sales Mastery V2 .> Completed MH Technical Sales (2 required by IBM to enable our support for WEBSPHERE products – no one is assigned to any of these right now)
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT Sales Courses M155 Information Management Solution Sales Mastery V3 > Completed by Darien (DF) M156 IBM Cognos Foundational Sales Course> Completed MH
Technical Sales (2 required by IBM to enable our support for INFORMATION MANAGEMENT products – no one is assigned to any of these right now)
In summary we are OK with the Sales Mastery Tests however we need two Technical Sales courses from each area finished in order to be fully enabled for all of the THREE AREAS. ..Six courses in all. So, once you have gotten your feet wet with the Sales Mastery course let me know which of the Technical courses you would like to attempt. We can also be enabled when you complete a fully certified IBM Technical non sales course in related to ANY of the areas above NON SALES CERTIFICATES
